Mark Atalla is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy and Deputy National Coordinator for Policy at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). In this capacity, he contributes to technology and policy initiatives within the federal health sector.

Prior to his current role, Atalla served as a Senior Advisor in the CMS Office of the Administrator and at the CMS Innovation Center within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
