Mario Monti is an Italian politician, economist, and academic, born on March 19, 1943. He currently serves as President of Bocconi University in Milan, where he previously held the roles of Rector and President for many years. Monti earned a degree in economics from Bocconi University in 1965 and later studied at Yale University under Nobel laureate James Tobin.
