Mario Marcel Cullell is a Chilean economist born on October 22, 1959, in Santiago, Chile. He currently serves as Chile's Minister of Finance, a position he has held since March 11, 2022.

Prior to his current role, Marcel was the President of the Central Bank of Chile. His international experience includes serving as Senior Director for the Governance Global Practice at the World Bank Group and as Deputy Director for Governance and Territorial Development at the OECD.
