Margaret Reynolds is a former Australian politician who represented the Australian Labor Party (ALP) as a Senator for Queensland from 1983 to 1999. During her time in the Hawke government, she held significant ministerial roles, serving as Minister for Local Government from 1987 to 1990 and as Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Status of Women from 1988 to 1990.
Born in Hobart, Tasmania, in 1941, Reynolds began her career in education.
