Margaret Press is a forensic genealogist and author. She is widely recognized for co-founding the DNA Doe Project in 2017 with Colleen M. Fitzpatrick, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to identifying unidentified homicide victims using genetic genealogy. She remains a board member of the organization.
Press is also a co-founder of BanyanDNA (since 2023) and DNA Justice.
