Marcelo Mindlin is the President of Pampa Energía S.A. and the Buenos Aires Holocaust Museum. His career as a businessman began in 1989 when he founded the EMES Investor Group, which he continues to preside over.

In 2003, Mindlin relaunched his career as an entrepreneur. In 2005, he and his partners acquired "Frigorífico Pampa," a shell company listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange, for US$1 million.
