Marc Tessier-Lavigne is a Canadian-American neuroscientist who serves as the co-founder, CEO, and chair of Xaira Therapeutics, an AI biotechnology firm. He is also a biology professor at Stanford University. Prior to his current role, he was the 11th president of Stanford University from 2016 until his resignation in 2023.
