Mallory Weggemann is an American Paralympic swimmer, motivational speaker, and author. After becoming paralyzed at 18 in 2008, she returned to the swimming pool within three months. Less than four years later, she set 15 world records and 33 American records, earning gold and bronze medals at the 2012 London Paralympic Games in the S8 50 meter freestyle event, setting a new Paralympic record time.
