Majid Fotuhi is a neurologist trained at Johns Hopkins, where he earned his PhD in Neuroscience, and Harvard Medical School, where he received his MD. For over three decades, he has challenged the long-held assumption that memory loss and dementia are inevitable. His research revealed that many cases misdiagnosed as Alzheimer's disease were, in fact, the result of treatable conditions such as strokes, diabetes, and hypertension, which had not been linked to memory decline.
