Maithra Raghu is the Founder and CEO of Samaya AI, a company she established in 2022.

Prior to founding Samaya AI, Raghu was a Research Scientist at Google Brain from January 2016 to April 2022. In this role, her work involved training neural networks specifically for expert workflows.

Raghu's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Cornell University. She also holds a BA and Masters Degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
