Martin Baron is an American journalist recognized for his extensive career leading prominent newspapers. He served as the executive editor of The Washington Post from December 2012 until his retirement in February 2021. Prior to this, he was the editor of The Boston Globe from 2001 to 2012. Under his leadership, both publications received multiple Pulitzer Prizes for their impactful investigative journalism.
