Biography

M Sanjayan is a conservation leader and the previous Chief Executive Officer of Conservation International, a global organization with a presence in over 100 countries across six continents. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Oregon and a Ph.D.

in conservation biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Born in Sri Lanka and raised in West Africa, he brings a global perspective to conservation efforts.
