Juliana Stratton serves as the 48th Lieutenant Governor of Illinois, a role she has held since 2019. In this position, she shattered barriers by becoming the first Black Lieutenant Governor and the first Black woman to serve as a constitutional officer in Illinois' over 200-year history.
