Biography

Louise Margaret Haigh is a British politician representing the Labour Party, serving as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sheffield Heeley since 2015. She held various shadow ministerial and shadow cabinet portfolios between 2015 and 2024. Following Labour's victory in the 2024 general election, Haigh was appointed to the Cabinet as Secretary of State for Transport in the Starmer ministry from July to November 2024.
