Biography

Lorenzo Bini Smaghi is an Italian economist and banker. He currently serves as an Honorary Professor at University College London. From 2005 to 2011, he was a member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank.

Throughout his career, Bini Smaghi has held significant leadership roles in the financial sector and other industries. He was the Former President of Société Générale and currently serves as Chairman of Societe Generale.
