Liza Lin is a correspondent with over 17 years of experience across Asia, with a strong focus on China and Southeast Asia. She is the co-author of "Surveillance State" and has been recognized with a Gerald Loeb Award for Distinguished Business and Financial Journalism. She was also a Pulitzer Finalist in International Reporting and a Society of Publishers Asia Investigative Reporting Winner.

Lin has served as an MIT Knight Science Journalism Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute Of Technology.
