Biography

Lisa Smart is a British Liberal Democrat politician who has served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Hazel Grove in Greater Manchester since 2024. She previously contested the seat in the 2015, 2017, and 2019 general elections before gaining it in 2024. As of 2025, she is the Liberal Democrat Cabinet Office Spokesperson in the House of Commons, and was also appointed Home Affairs spokesperson and Women and Equalities Spokesperson in September 2024.
