Biography

Lionel Sosa is a Mexican-American advertising and marketing executive born on May 27, 1939. After graduating from Lanier High School in 1957, he served in the United States Marine Corps. Sosa opened his graphic design studio, SosArt, in 1967. He entered political advertising by supporting John Tower, helping him secure 37% of the Hispanic vote, a significant increase for a Republican candidate at the time.
