Lina Khan is an American legal scholar who served as the Chair of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) from 2021 to 2025. Nominated by President Joe Biden in March 2021, she became the youngest FTC chair ever upon her confirmation in June 2021. Khan is also an associate professor at Columbia Law School and gained prominence for her work in antitrust and competition law, particularly through her essay "Amazon's Antitrust Paradox.
