Liam Halligan is a British economist, journalist, author, and broadcaster known for his extensive work across economics, politics, and foreign affairs. He has served as an Economics Commentator for Telegraph Media Group since 2002 and has been a Presenter for Channel 4 since 2005. From 2021 to 2024, he was the economics and business editor at GB News. Halligan also writes a weekly column in The Sunday Telegraph and presents The Telegraph's weekly Planet Normal podcast.
