Lex Fridman is an American computer scientist and research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Born in Chkalovsk, Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic, in 1983, he grew up in Moscow before his family moved to the Chicago area when he was about 11. He earned B.
S. and M.S.
degrees in computer science in 2010, and a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering in 2014, all from Drexel University.
