Biography

Leonardo Martinez-Diaz is the Director and Senior Fellow for the Program on Sustainability, Climate, and Geopolitics at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. In this role, he focuses on the intersection of environmental issues, global climate policy, and international relations.

Prior to his current position, Martinez-Diaz was the Global Director of the Sustainable Finance Center at the World Resources Institute. He also gained experience at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
