Lenore Skenazy is the President of Let Grow and the founder of the Free-Range Kids movement. She gained national attention in 2008 after writing a controversial column about letting her then-9-year-old son take the New York City Subway home alone, which led to her being dubbed "America's Worst Mom." In response, Skenazy authored the book and launched a blog, both titled "Free-Range Kids.
