Laurent Duvernay-Tardif is a Canadian physician and former professional football player, widely recognized for his unique achievement as the first active NFL player to earn a doctorate in medicine. He pursued his medical degree (MDCM) at McGill University in Montreal and later enrolled at Harvard University to obtain a Master of Public Health degree. He is currently a resident at McGill University.
