Laurent Vasilescu serves as a Managing Director and Senior Equity Analyst at BNP Paribas CIB. His career in finance includes a similar role as Managing Director & Senior Equity Analyst at Macquarie Group, and he began as an Equity Research Associate at FBR.

Academically, Vasilescu earned an MBA, where he was recognized with the Paul Sonkin Prize for Value Investing and was a NYSSA Stock Pitch Finalist. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
