Larry Hite is a hedge fund manager widely recognized as one of the forefathers of system trading. In 1981, he co-founded Mint Investments, which grew to become the world's largest commodity trading advisor by 1990 in terms of assets under management. During this period, Hite also formed a partnership with the Man Group, where he pioneered the principal protected fund concept, leading to various successful structured products and financial engineering innovations.
