Biography

Dr. Lakeysha Hallmon is an American social entrepreneur, speaker, and author, best known as the founder of The Village Market. Established in 2016, The Village Market is a national initiative that supports Black-owned businesses through commerce, marketplaces, and campaigns. In 2017, she launched Our Village United (OVU), a nonprofit organization dedicated to small business development, which has allocated $800,000 in grants since its inception.
