Kyle Maynard is an American entrepreneur, speaker, and bestselling author. Born on March 24, 1986, with congenital amputation, a rare condition that left him with arms ending at the elbows and legs ending near his knees, he learned to live independently without prosthetics. He is recognized as the first quadruple amputee to ascend Mount Kilimanjaro (19,340 feet) and Mount Aconcagua (22,838 feet), the highest peak in both the Western and Southern Hemispheres, without the aid of prosthetics.
