Kyle Balzer is a Resident Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. He holds a PhD in history from Ohio University, where he specialized in American nuclear policy and strategy. His research focuses on U.S. deterrence during the Cold War.

Currently, Balzer is working on a book manuscript titled The Revivalist: James Schlesinger and the Rebirth of Cold War U.S. Deterrence.
