Kristin Aslaug Persson is the Daniel M. Tellep Distinguished Professor in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. She is a Swedish/Icelandic American physicist and chemist. Born in Lund, Sweden, in 1971, she is the daughter of Eva Haettner-Aurelius and Einar.
