Kristin J. Forbes is the Jerome and Dorothy Lemelson Professor of Management and Global Economics at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Her research focuses on international macroeconomics, monetary economics, and macroprudential policy.

Alongside her academic appointments, she sits on advisory boards to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, International Monetary Fund, and Bank for International Settlements. As of 2020, Forbes is also the convener of the Bellagio Group.
