Kristen Michal is the prime minister of Estonia, taking office on July 23, 2024. Prior to this role, he held several key ministerial positions within the Estonian government, including minister of justice from 2011 to 2012, minister of economic affairs and infrastructure from 2015 to 2016, and minister of climate from 2023 to 2024.
Michal's political career began in 1996 as an advisor to the Estonian Reform Party, where he served at various levels until 2002.
