Kohei Itoh, born in 1965, is a distinguished Japanese physicist currently serving as the 20th President of Keio University. In this capacity, he also holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Trustees. His academic and research career is marked by significant contributions to solid-state physics, quantum computers, electronic materials, nanotechnology, and semiconductor isotope engineering.
Itoh is recognized as one of Japan's pioneers in quantum computational research.
