Biography

Klaas Henderikus Willem Knot (born 1967) is a Dutch economist and central banker. He served as President of De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), the Dutch central bank, from July 1, 2011, to July 1, 2025. In this capacity, he was a member of the Governing Council and General Council of the European Central Bank (ECB), the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB), and a Governor at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
