Kirsi Madi holds the position of UN Assistant Secretary-General and UN Women Deputy Executive Director. In this capacity, she is responsible for Resource Management, Sustainability, and Partnerships at UN Women.

Prior to her current role, Madi had an extensive career at Unicef. Her positions there included Chief of Staff and Director of the Office of the Executive Director. She also served as Deputy Regional Director and as Secretary of the Executive Board at Unicef.
