Biography

Kipp deVeer serves as Co-President, a Director, and Partner of Ares Management Corporation. He is also a Co-Chair of the Ares Operating Committee and a Director of Ares Capital Corporation (ARCC). He is involved in a number of Investment Committees, including those for Ares U.S. Direct Lending, European Direct Lending, Pathfinder, and Insurance Solutions strategies.

Prior to his current role, deVeer served as Head of the Ares Credit Group and CEO of ARCC until 2025. He joined Ares in 2004.
