Kip E. Tom is an American diplomat and agricultural business leader. He served as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture and chief of the United States Mission to the UN Agencies in Rome from 2019 to 2021. In this role, he engaged with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and other UN bodies focused on global food and agricultural development.
Prior to his diplomatic service, Tom was the chief executive officer of Indiana-based Tom Farms.
