Kim Jong Un, born in 1983 or 1984, is a North Korean politician who holds the titles of general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the State Affairs Commission. As a member of the Kim family, he is the third supreme leader and dictator of North Korea, following his father Kim Jong Il and grandfather Kim Il Sung, the nation's founder. He studied at the International School of Berne in Switzerland before attending Kim Il Sung University from 2002 to 2007.
