Kevin Yang is a Principal Researcher at Microsoft, currently serving as a senior researcher at Microsoft Research New England. His work focuses on machine learning applications.

Prior to his role at Microsoft, Yang was a machine learning scientist at Generate Biomedicines, a Flagship Pioneering company, where he utilized machine learning to optimize proteins. He pursued his PhD in Chemical Engineering at Caltech from 2014 to 2018, working in Frances Arnold's lab.
