Kenneth Saul Rogoff is an American economist and chess Grandmaster. He currently holds the Maurits C. Boas Chair of International Economics at Harvard University, where he has been a faculty member since 1998.
Rogoff earned his B.A. and M.
A. from Yale University summa cum laude in 1975, and a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1980.
