Biography

CDR K. Scott Phillips, USPHS, is the Chief of the Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry (LAC) within the FDA Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER). In this role, LAC conducts confirmatory testing for selected biologics before lot release, adhering to ISO 17025 accreditation standards, utilizing analytical chemistry methods such as titration, chromatography, and spectroscopy.
