Kenneth Ronald French is the Roth Family Distinguished Professor of Finance at the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College. He is widely recognized for his collaborative work with Eugene Fama on asset pricing. Together, they developed the Fama–French three-factor model, which challenges the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) by incorporating market capitalization and 'value' as additional factors to explain stock returns.
