Warren Kenneth Paxton Jr. serves as the Attorney General of Texas, a position he has held since 2015. A member of the Republican Party, he is known for his strongly conservative views and has been described as an ultraconservative and far-right ally of President Donald Trump. Prior to his role as Attorney General, Paxton served in the Texas Senate, representing District 8 from 2012, and as a State Representative for House District 70 from 2002 to 2012.
