Ken Ono is an American mathematician, data scientist, and engineer. He is the Founding Mathematician for Axiom Math and holds the position of Commonwealth Professor of Mathematics at the University of Virginia (UVa), currently on extended leave. His academic work focuses on number theory.
Ono is dedicated to mentoring mathematicians and scientists, having organized REU programs for 25 years.
