Kenneth Peter Medema, born on December 7, 1943, is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and storyteller. He has been performing in the United States, Canada, and Europe for over four decades. Medema, who was born almost blind, began playing the piano at age five and later studied classical music through braille, playing by ear and improvising in various styles.
In 1969, Medema majored in music therapy at Michigan State University.
