Sir Kenneth Douglas McCallum, born in 1974, is a British intelligence officer who has served as the Director General of MI5 since April 2020, succeeding Sir Andrew Parker. McCallum's career with MI5 spans over two decades, beginning after he earned a first in maths and computing from the University of Glasgow in 1996.
During his early career, McCallum focused on Northern Ireland-related terrorism and led counter-terrorism investigations, including those during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
