Kayla Jean Harrison is an American professional mixed martial artist and former judoka. She holds the distinction of being the first female fighter to win both an Olympic gold medal and a UFC championship. She is the current UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion and a former two-time Professional Fighters League lightweight champion.
Born in Middletown, Ohio, Harrison began judo at age six. She won two national championships by age 15.
