Biography

Kayla Blomquist is the Co-founder and Director of the Oxford China Policy Lab, where she produces policy-relevant research focused on mitigating risks from great power competition and emerging technologies. She is also an affiliate at the Oxford Martin AI Governance Initiative. Her research specializes in the geopolitics of technology, with an emphasis on AI governance, China, and the role of third countries in U.S.-China relations.
