Kate Kurtz serves as the Organics and Landscape Resource Conservation Planner and Program Lead at Seattle Public Utilities. In this role, she contributes to resource conservation efforts.

Prior to her current position, Kurtz was a Principal Scientist at Srt Consultants. She also held the role of Biosolids Project Manager at King County, Wa. Additionally, she is a co-founder, board member, and farm manager at Alleycat Acres.
