Katherine 'Kate' Irene Maynard Darling is an American-Swiss academic and Research Scientist at the MIT Media Lab, a position she has held since 2011. She focuses on the legal and ethical implications of technology, with a particular emphasis on robotics.
Darling grew up in Basel, Switzerland, and received degrees in Economics and Law from the University of Basel.
